This survey was conducted among 29 people in the
UAE. The purpose of the survey was to investigate the driving behavior in the UAE.
The survey was conducted by means of a questionnaire given to
the people of the UAE to complete; the first part of the survey talks about
their own driving and how good their driving is; however the second part
of the survey talks about the death rate and how to lower it, Finally the
last part of the survey talks about the public transport and private cars.
The most significant items the charts illustrate are as follows.
In the first section 79.31% of the participants think that
their driving is safe; however 62.02% sometimes go above the speed limit.
In the second part most of the participants know
about the death rate in the UAE , 44.83% ; however there is a minority of
participants, 34.43% who don't know about it. On the other hand 23 of
the participants give some good ideas in how to lower the death rate.
Finally in the last part 81.31% of the participants prefer to
use the private cars; however 44.50%of them have used the public transport once or twice, but
most of the participants think that the public transport is safe and clean.
Finally the major part of the participants have ideas for how to make
the driving in the UAE safe.
